Bill started his career as an assistant district attorney, arguing 20 jury trials in two years and gaining valuable experience in talking with jurors. Following that experience, he joined a well-respected real estate law firm in San Marcos, where he was mentored by excellent attorneys in that field. Bill then became a partner in a firm based in Austin, where he handled more than 30 intricate jury trials over a period of ten years, going up against some of the best attorneys in Central Texas to gain positive results for his clients.

After a short stint with the Texas Attorney General trying eminent domain cases, Bill was appointed by the Texas Governor as the first judge of the 428th District Court in Hays County. In his 17 years on the bench, he presided over a complex docket of civil and criminal cases, as well as family law appeals, completing more than 150 jury trials.

Since leaving the bench, Bill has established a private practice for clients with complex property, business, or family law cases, most of which have involved valuable real property and related issues. Whether settling boundary disputes, clearing up title issues, or helping clients through the intricacies of family law, Bill offers professional and prompt service.
